Insurgency: Modern Infantry Combat – Review

My full review of Insurgency (the mod I mentioned last week) was just posted at Deeko. After spending a few weeks off and on refining the text, and then posting it this morning and spending about an hour tonight tweaking the position of page-breaks and screen shots, I’m pretty happy with the end result.

Also, I think I was pretty thorough covering all the facets of the mod. It’s not a terrible mod, but there were a lot of issues to go over. Having spent some time talking with the developers and community on the forums, I feel mildly guilty slamming the game so hard, but the truth had to be told.

I’ve also got a rant on E3 in the works. I’m not sure exactly where it’ll end up, but it should be good when it finally arrives.
